Introduced by Richard Goodwin
Nicholas Scapillati Guests in AttendanceGuest presenter:Richard Goodwin started in films as a tea boy after doing military service in the SAS (Special Air Service) in Malaya in 1955. He went on to watch Joan Collins walking with a book on her head whilst she was still a pupil in the Rank (The Rank Organisation was a British entertainment conglomerate) charm school. Up through the ranks, the first film he produced was TALES OF BEATRIX POTTER and then MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, DEATH ON THE NILE, THE MIRROR CRACK’D, LITTLE DORRIT, A PASSAGE TO INDIA and SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET. Goodwin built a studio in Rotherhithe, London with his wife Christine Edzard which now thrives making period costumes for filmmakers worldwide. As Captain of his trusty barge, he made a PBS documentary called LEONTYNE BY BARGE FROM LONDON TO VIENNA and a series called BARGING THROUGH FRANCE.
